Short answer: both lead to the same certificate. Choose online if you cannot take a month away from work or family, or want to spread the cost. Choose residential if you want a full immersion and can travel to Rishikesh. We run both: online here, and residential at omyogainternational.org.
What online gives you
- No travel, visa or accommodation cost — the course fee is the whole cost.
- About two and a half hours of live class a day, so you can keep working.
- Recordings of every class, which help with philosophy and anatomy revision.
- Practice in your own space — which is where you will actually teach and practise afterwards.
What residential gives you
- Hands-on adjustments from teachers in the room.
- A daily rhythm — early practice, sattvic food, quiet evenings — that is hard to build at home.
- Time with other trainees outside class.
- Rishikesh itself.
What decides it
Be honest about two things. First, discipline: online asks you to show up on Zoom every day while life carries on around you. Second, time: residential asks for four to eight weeks away. If either is a problem, the other format will serve you better.
